Kindi Llajtu Álvarez Jacanamijoy is a Colombian painter belonging to the Inga culture. He was born on September 1, 1975, in Manoy, Santiago, Putumayo. Since he was a child, he has been exposed to ancestral wisdom and learned about his culture and tradition by staying with his grandparents. He has had the opportunity to showcase his artwork in various individual and collective exhibitions held in Mexico, France, Colombia and Brazil. Kindi studied Fine Arts at the National University of Colombia and graduated in 1998.
